This page describes storage controlled by the supplied publication. Reading articles, using search, comparing roles and using the local calculators do not require optional reading-position storage. A visible Cookie settings control remains available in the lower corner of every page where the theme calls WordPress’s footer hook.
What the reading feature stores

Calculator inputs and request behavior
Gross-pay, commute and availability inputs remain in the current page. The package does not store them in cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage and does not submit them or add them to a URL. Reset clears that tool’s values; browser-managed form restoration is outside this feature’s control. Ordinary site navigation and search request pages from WordPress.
Inventory scope: package source inspection on September 30, 2026. The preference cookie is a necessary choice record; reading-position local storage is optional. No sessionStorage item or embedded-player request is implemented by this package. Live hosting, HttpOnly cookies and unrelated plugin behavior require a separate deployment review.
Change or withdraw your choice
Open reading and cookie settings
Choose Accept all optional to enable the feature, Reject non-essential to turn it off, or Manage preferences to choose and save. Rejection attempts to remove the local reading record immediately. If the browser blocks saving a cookie or deleting local data, the control reports that problem and optional storage stays off on that page. Use your browser’s site-data controls if deletion is blocked.
Preferences apply to this browser and device. With JavaScript disabled, the feature does not save reading positions; the settings link still leads to policy information. Disabling scripts does not itself erase data saved on an earlier visit. You can remove that data in your browser.
Other services and external videos
The supplied package has no analytics or advertising tags and no embedded external video players. Video cards open the source’s website in a new tab only when you follow the link. That site’s cookie choices are separate.
WordPress administrator authentication, hosting/security services, a CDN and other plugins may use their own technology. This control does not block arbitrary third-party scripts or manage HttpOnly cookies. The publisher must review additional services and update this policy if the live site changes.
